We Want SMTown NYC

We have been invited to an exclusive event on DECEMBER 31, 2011 (New Years Eve) between 8 - 11AM that MBC (MBC Star Audition, We Got Married, Show Music Core) will be hosting called “NEW YEARS’ DAY EVE: LIVE K-POP CONCERT”!! We will be broadcasted live from Times Square shown to citizens all over South Korea watching a live K-Pop concert on the big screen! We will be given FREE K-Pop autographed CDs and T-Shirts!! I was contacted by one of the cameramen who filmed our flash mob on July 6th & would definitely want to film us personally! Please keep this date open in your already packed K-Pop schedules & I will make a Facebook event about it just in case! We’re ending 2011 on a K-POP high and hoping that 2012 will be filled with even more K-POP excitement! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this phenomenon and I hope that we continue to show Korea how much we love and appreciate their Hallyu~! ♥ THANK YOU!

Time: Saturday, December 17 ·  10:00am -  6:00pm

Location: Bennett Media Studios 723 Washington St. (11th St and Washington St), New York, NY

We are proud to announce the first auditions for the school!! All students must undergo the audition process and apply for entry into the school. Judges will review the contestants and offer entry based on their application and audition. We are looking for singers, dancers, and musical actors/actresses.

Multiple scholarships to one semester of professional training (worth $7000) will be awarded to top students. So everyone who’s interested in working in the Entertainment industry should apply!!

All Applicants need to prepare the following:
1. Korean Song with Music Recording (1 minute)
2. America Song with Music Recording (1 minute)
3. Dance segment with Music Recording (1 miinute)
4. Korean Monologue, if possible, otherwise in English
5. Please dress fashionable if possible. If you need to change, we will have a dressing room ready.
6. Please wear comfortable shoes to dance in (we will be having a separate dance session where you will learn choreography on the spot)

For those who are out of state or cannot attend the December 17th audition:
1. Sing one Korean song (1 minute)
2. Sing one American song (1 minute)
3. Dance segment any song (1 minute)
4. Korean Monologue, if possible, otherwise in English
5. Show us a fashionable outfit on the video
6. Please record all of this in one video, upload to YouTube or Vimeo and email us the link with the completed application.

Fill out an application and include a clear face picture. All Applicants are STRONGLY encouraged to submit Youtube videos with their applications. Applicants can include audio clips, Youtube video clips, or other media files as well. Applicants can compress multiple files and submit it in a zip file or 7zip file. Pictures should be in jpeg or png format.

Please include these links with your application. Please state if you cannot attend the December 17th audition. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Parent Release Form for Media Recording. All other Applicants must sign the Release Form for Media Recording.

Judges will be a prestigious fashion designer, choreographer director, singer/song writers from Korea and a surprise guest (not an idol).

First off I wish to ask everyone that follows me to please reblog this to spread the word!

I was contacted by the company who was contracted by SM to do a documentary on the concert being held in MSG on Sunday October 23rd. They have kindly asked for us to recreate the flash mob that we have performed twice this past summer for them to film.

So I’m extending my hand to EVERYONE who is going to the concert on Sunday to join us in this wonderful thing! 

We will be filming at 5PM in front of MSG itself (as they have permission from both MSG and SM to film anywhere in front of the venue) We will be performing the same flash mob that we performed back in July.  Tutorial can be found here on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvrEN_eXHPg

We will be meeting up around 3:30-4PM in front of MSG by where Borders use to be to help anyone who need to relearn he dace or just learn it within that hour. Because there isnt much room to move around in front of MSG practice will be moving to Greelesy Square (located right by K-town so its not a far walk from MSG) to practice but please note, because the park is small we will only be taking over people who will be practicing. We will go back to MSG to shoot the flash mob itself just before 5PM.

We hope everyone will come and join us and dance, but if not you are more than welcome to stand around in the back and hold up ur signs and lightsticks for the concert.

Hey everyone Danielle here. So I want to say congrats to everyone for a successful flash mob! We got a SMtown! (Go us!! ^^)

Just recently, I’ve come up with a idea that seems to be catching on real well for the upcoming smtown NYC.

Wouldn’t it be epic if while a group is performing, not just one section changes color to support the group thats up on stage but the entire arena? It would be a very hard thing to beat in epicness for any concert to follow afterwards. Also thinking of it this way, it would not just be epic beyond anything, but it would also be an amazing way for us to show our thanks to everyone group in SM.

Thats why I’m posting this to call out for help. This is something on a massive scale that will be alot of people to help coordinate it to go correctly. First off tho we need to spread the word. Not just to our small group but to every fandom that is going to the concert. That means making posts on fourms, getting intouch with people and telling family and friends who are going.
